ATCo2: Development Update

We published four big updates in the last weeks:

  • First of all, ATCo2 now contains 30 Steam achievements.
  • Second, we fixed issues relating to screen resolutions and screen ratio. The game will be displayed always in 16:9 from now on. Smaller screen resolutions are also supported now.
  • Third, we added new builds for Linux and MacOS. You should be able to download them on Steam.
  • Fourth, we also added some really cool background music to the game. We hope, you will love it. We already do! 🙂

If you face any problems, please let us know.

Thank You!

Two weeks ago, we released our first game on Steam. As this was a dream for a realy long time, we are extremely proud and happy that we have made it this far. We did not expect that there’s anyone out there who will buy our tiny game that is still in development. Therefore, we are very thankful that there are players who already supported our work and also dropped some valuable feedback and new ideas. Thank you so much, we love you!

ATCo2: Development Update

We made some progress in the last two weeks and have just pushed an update to Steam that we actually expected in the end of September.

Game release date is still set to September 1st, 2022.
So hopefully, you already have our game on your Steam wishlist! 🙂

The latest update concerns some basic improvements of the gameplay:

  • Planes that are off course to their destination airports are marked red and there’s a new alert text next to the plane that tells you what’s going on.
  • Planes that are on a collision course or within a short distance are marked red and there’s a new alert text next to the planes that tells you what’s going on.
  • We added a small animation (crash/explosion-icon) when two planes collide.
  • Players will be notifed with a quick text popup (that automatically disappears within seconds) when a plane ist lost (went off screen).
  • Players will be notifed with a quick text popup (that automatically disappears within seconds) when a plane reached its destination airport. There’s also a small animation of a pilot’s face icon at the destination, but it needs some more improvements.
  • On the first level, we provide some short “preflight briefing” on how to control the planes and some information of the goal of the game.
